Metatag may be restricted - twitter card validator

Below is the support question posted on Discourse (February 26, 2021, 12:38am) for assistance but it was removed after 5 days for unknown reason. :thinking:

tried the twitter card validator and it is showing this message

INFO: Page fetched successfully
INFO: 19 metatags were found
INFO: twitter:card = summary tag found
INFO: Card loaded successfully
WARN: The image URL https://example.com/uploads/default/original/1X/c1a344b02aa046908b753784889a4be525616c28.jpeg specified by the ‘twitter:image’ metatag may be restricted by the site’s robots.txt file, which will prevent Twitter from fetching it.

version: 2.7.0.beta4

could upgrade from a very old version be the cause of this?

if not, can you let me know what to check?

Thanks goes to HaPe for providing this solution

You can open the setting “allow index in robots txt” and click “override robots.txt”. Then look up the line Disallow: /u and place a slash in the end, so it becomes Disallow: /u/. It will take Twitter a few hours to pick up the change.

It’s working at the moment so give it a try if you encounter the same thing.
